Pierre Boileau has devoted most of his career directing and writing circus, varieties, musicals, spectacular events and ice shows for live audience or television. He has built a solid reputation in all of these show business areas.
As a major aspect of his carrier, Pierre Boileau has worked on many bilingual and "royals" shows: He has produced 10 years of the Governor General Performing Arts Award's shows (most of them aired on CBC/SRC networks) and produced the installation of Michaëlle Jean as Governor General in the Senate.
In 2001 Pierre was the artistic director of "Les Saisons du Québec à New York" presenting more than a hundred artistic events in the Big Apple. As a consequence of the 9/11 tragedy, he produced, directed and created the "Red Cross Fund Raising Show" that took place at the Bell Center in Montreal (multi broadcasted).
In 2002, he started his own event production company on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee. This prestigious event included the direction of more than seven shows across Canada. Pierre Boileau, with a crew of hundreds, directed each of these shows including the broadcast special event of the Queen's Jubilee from Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto. In 2005 he directed the Saskatchewan Centennial Celebration in Saskatoon, in the presence of her Majesty, also broadcasted Canada wide. In 2011, he worked on the Canada Day Shows on parliament Hill. Again her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II attended.
In 2008, for the Quebec 400 celebrations he produced 2 live shows that were also broadcasted in Canada and France. The first show: "Rencontre" was designed for the official July 3rd celebrating the exact date of 400 years (this show won the best musical television show at l'ADISQ).
Pierre has also created and directed many musical variety shows ("Joe Dassin", "From Rock to Opera", "Cinema Show", "Party Time"), circus shows (Cirque Du Soleil, Cirque Éloize, Cirque du Tonnerre). He also produced many big outdoors events ("Fête Nationale du Québec", "Francofolies", "Just for Laughs", "Quebec Summer Festival") and television gala events ("Jutras", "ADISQ", "French Speaking Summit"). He recently produced the television show "Ensemble Pour Haiti", which aired on every French speaking network in Canada.
